Entrepreneur changes homeless man’s life :: CHICAGO SUN-TIME
Chicago entrepreneur becomes an angel in a homeless mans life. This is a story about lifting people up. Wouldn’t it be something if this is the kind of story that leads the news vs. the death, destruction, and politics that dominate the headlines now?

It is so encouraging to hear stories like this one about Pete Kadens. Just wanted you to know about another entrepreneurial effort — homelesspartners.com. We are trying to get the word out about it. It is a website with the personal stories of homeless people — typed on the website after interviews -along with their Christmas Wish list. People go to the website, read the stories then deliver the requested gift directly to the shelter the homeless person frequents.
Next year we hope to have press conferences to invite the public to participate in the interviewing process so that many can make personal connections.
This year 5 cities in the US participated (Portland, Las Vegas, Miami, Denver & Boise) and 4 in Canada. There were about 1500 stories.
We would like to add more cities and more stories. We had a really hard time getting media for the project. If anybody knows of any US media people who are homeless friendly and might be willing to cover this story – would REALLY appreciate it.
Peace and Grace,
jennie
