The Boston Celtics Deserve The 2008 NBA Finals Championship
As you probably know by now, the Boston Celtics pulled off the greatest comeback in an NBA Finals game ever last night. They were down by 21 points after the first quarter and down by 24 in the second half, yet they found a way to come back. I predicted that the Lakers would win the series, but I have been pulling for my Chicago homeboy, Kevin Garnett, one of Boston’s Big-3 to win his first NBA title and ring. My daughter has been pulling for Boston since the start and at the beginning of the game I was giving her all kinds of grief…”Look at Kobe do this, and watch Gasol do that. Wow, did you see that 3-point shot to end the half.” Well you can guess how she was rubbing my face in it when the Celtics took the lead. There was nothing I could say. If you let a team go on a 21-3 run in the Finals, then you deserve to lose, and that’s just what happened. I really liked how Paul Pierce summed it up at the end of the game CLICK HERE. If you want to see the highlights summed up in a brief video check that out HERE.
