Congratulations to the 2008 World Champion Boston Celtics
Now that was impressive! I just watched the Boston Celtics beat the Los Angeles Lakers by a score of 131- 92. When this series started i thought that the Lakers had the better team, but they faded down the stretch like Big Brown in the Belmont. I don’t even have to question about what happened. Boston had the better team and the Celtics wanted it more than the Lakers did. I was truly convinced when LA could not hold on to a 23 point lead in game four of the series. I’m glad that Boston was able to win the championship at home. There is nothing like being able to celebrate a championship at home with your own fans.
I know that every member of the Celtics team and staff deserves the championship, but I really feel good for Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, and Doc Rivers, who is another Chicago homeboy. I appreciated the shout out to Chicago from KG after the game as he was being interviewed by Michelle Tafoya.
I remember what this feels like from a fan perspective, because I lived in Chicago all through the Michael Jordan / Chicago Bulls era and I still have fond memories of those days; but today belongs to the Celtics and I tip my cap to them. Congratulations.
I found it interesting…I hope you do too.

Yep, what a butt kickin it was. As a Lakers fan, I’ll have nightmares tonight.
