Did You See The 2008 All-Star Game?
I just read a great article by Mike Celeizic about last nights 2008 All-Star Game. CLICK HERE to read the article for yourself. I agree with Mike that it is a shame that so many working adults probably didn’t stay up to see the end of the game. I was one that did, but I’m struggling and drinking coffee now to make up for it. It was a great game and I’m glad that I saw it. I’ve never seen so many plays at the plate; and poor Dan Uggla with a record 3 errors in the game. Maybe he was sleeping on the field.
I’m not sure what we can do about the start times of these big games. It would make sense to have them start a little earlier, but then the TV people might not make as much advertising money as they do now, and I’m sure you realize that the ad money is what helps keep these events on free tv. I don’t have an answer right now, but maybe you do. If so please leave your comment.
