Thank You Brett Farve! Watch the amazing finish

October 30, 2007

I watched one of the most amazing overtime victories that I have ever seen last night on Monday Night Football. I’ve attached a video, CLICK HERE, of the winning play made by Brett Farve and Greg Jennings for your enjoyment. But the real story here is that by Brett tossing that winning pass my fantasy football team won its game last night by two points and moved me into first place in my ESPN fantasy football league. Talk about a nail biter. I’ve attached a link HERE to the ESPN fantasy football box score so that you can see how close it was for yourself. BTW, do I have any other fantasy football fans who read this. If so, let me know by leaving a comment. I have a fantasy sports idea that I would like to share with you.

I even walked down the street as a couple of Chicago police cars raced by and one of the actors was running down the street. I hope I’m in the shot when it CSI NY disclaimer.jpg

October 25, 2007

As though straight out of some biblical parable, for whatever reason, a percentage of those engaging in an activity will do it the good way while a percentage will do it the bad way. In sports or academics, they call it cheating. In our industry, they call it fraud….

This story is of interest to me because it hits home to my day job with As the Business Development Manger for the Monster AdNetwork, I have to be aware that everyone I talk to about lead generation and revenue sharing is not being totally honest about how they do business. That’s disturbing, and I’m not sure how you fix it, but that’s why I found this story to be interesting. Are there other people in the lead generation, Internet Marketing, AdNetwork business that have comments on this?

Online poker players bet on changing laws

October 25, 2007

Now I like to get in a good game of poker every now and then myself, usually on the Poker Club. So I can agree with these guys that don’t want the government restricting their right to play poker online. So far I only play with play money, but I enjoy it. What are your opinions on this?
