Bellwood, IL man killed biker to avoid filing accident report

Bond was set at $750,000 Thursday morning for a Bellwood man accused of running over and fatally injuring a motorcyclist in an attempt to avoid filing a police report.

Exxon Made Nearly $1500 A Second!

DeaconDavid’s comment: These numbers from Exxon are staggering. Can you imagine making $1500 every second of the day and night for three months. That’s the pace that Exxon made money during the second quarter of 2008. That’s profit not revenue. $1500 in profit every second. I’m impressed with the numbers, but the US should seriously consider some alternatives to oil, like wind power.

Exxon Mobil once again reported the largest quarterly profit in U.S. history Thursday, posting net income of $11.68 billion on revenue of $138 billion in the second quarter.

A biography posted on the church Web site said Regan was raised in Peotone and attended public schools and then the University of Notre Dame, majoring in mathematics

66 Year Old Man Scores 2 Holes-In-One In Same Round

For any of you that play golf, you know what the odds are for you score a hole-in-one.  Bob Hickey must be some kind of lucky.  He scored 2 holes-in-one in the same round.  The odds of one player scoring two holes-in-one are 67 million to 1.  Check out the full story HERE.

The NFL and NBC Sports plan to announce a deal Monday to stream 17 regular-season games on the Web. The move could potentially give the NFL another bargaining chip in broadcast negotiations.
