One of the more interesting stories of the day is the announcement by Donald Trump that Miss California, Carrie Prejean, can keep her crown.  I know there are a lot of people on both sides of this one, but I believe that the Donald made a wise decision today.  Now lets pray that Carries uses the platform that she has been given to not only advance her career, but to glorify God in the process.

I’m Being Blessed

March 2, 2009

For the past four weeks I have been taking a bible class at church on Prayer and Fasting.  It has been an inspiring and eye opening experience.  I wish everyone could be in the class with me because I’m sure you would learn some nugget of information that will help you develop a closer relationship with Jesus Christ.  The class is taught by Rev. Clyde White and he recently developed a web site that gives information on the class and encourages everyone to learn and then join in fellowship and conversation with the other members of the class.  Please check out the web site at http://www.revclydewhite.webs.com.  I’ve been blessed by the class and I hope you check out the site and get blessed too.

President George W. Bush

President George W. Bush

President George W. Bush said that he is not a literalist when it comes to his Bible reading. What that means to me is that President Bush doesn’t believe that everything in the Bible happened exactly as it is written.  That’s not the way I was taught, but I guess he is entitled to his opinion, even if I think his opinion is wrong.  But if you look at the public opinion on President Bush you will see that I am not alone in believing that his opinion is wrong.  But back to the Bible; do you believe that the Bible is literally true?  Answer the opinion poll and leave your comments.
